A watched pot.

This is a Poem That Doesn’t Rhyme

A new hobby can be exciting to start.
It’s kind of freaky to watch yourself on camera.
It’s great to learn new and interesting skills.

A new hobby can be exciting and challenging to start.
I’ve learned that a watched pot never boils.
I’ve also learned that when I don’t watch the pot
That the pot overflows into a crusty mess on the stove.
That’s okay because I have no problem cleaning up messes.

A new hobby can be exciting to start.
Another thing I’ve learned
Is that a watched progress bar never finishes
And that on occasion, you have to get a new stove.
