I remember when the skies were blue
When everything was so brand new
Each morning like a Christmas gift
Feet were light and oh, so swift
Someone pulled the black shades down
And every day just turned to brown
One day bled into the other
Tried to walk and only stuttered
I remember skies so blue
I remember me and you.
Do you?
Now I glue.
Love your poem, Marlies! And I hope that you have better luck next time getting the whole damn bowl on your face. HA!
