I bet you were expecting a really serious sequel to the last post? Wrong. The humor stays. The seriousness is an accessory.
Plus, I’m not writing my entire life story in a linear, boring fashion either. There will be chunks everywhere. Interesting chunks. That one day will get put together. Like bathroom tiles.
So on this Goodreads site, this is how all of you read a really good book:
I don’t know if it is a really good book as of yet because I’m broke and well my local library might have it and they might not. I also can’t read very well because it gives me a headache and I don’t have time right now. Also, WTF is up with the reading progress chart? I saw that and hung my head in shame.
MY reading progress chart for a book my friend suggested in the SUMMER OF 2014:
March 18th, 2014 | Started Reading |
March 18th, 2015 | 10% |
March 19th, 2015 | Mr. Darcy is an asshole and I don’t wanna read any more |
March 20th, 2016 | Am assured that Mr. Darcy is one of the greatest romantic men in all of English literature |
March 19th, 2017 |
10% and I call bullshit on romance |
And this is how every book I pick up generally goes.
It’s depressing and I simply cannot concentrate anymore.
I no longer have the ability to complete an entire book.
Avid readers: be grateful that you can still read and not fall asleep while doing so.
Maybe you just haven’t found the right books. Or maybe you just genuinely hate reading! Either way, I don’t judge and don’t give a shit as long as you keep writing!

Thank you! Maybe I do need to find the right books. Audiobooks. Whoops I just about wrote audioboobs.

I think I would like audioboobs?!

I am extremely grateful that I can still read – especially seeing as I’m an author.
My mother-in-law has developed macular degeneration and can’t read even large print books. She also can no longer do most of the things she has loved doing her whole life.
I’m grateful for the many things I can do because I’m well aware that I can all too easily lose them.

I’m thinking, maybe I should adopt a more positive outlook and do audio books?
